« Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion finely sliced
  • 1 carrot grated
  • half a white cabbage
  • 3 tbsps yoghurt
  • 2 tbsps mayonaise
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt

Method

  • Scatter a teaspoon of salt over the onion and leave in a sieve over the sink whilst you shred the rest of the veg
  • Squeeze out the onion and add to the other ingredients
  • Mix, taste and adjust for saltiness and sourness
